More Impact Than Ever Before — What We Pulled off in 2025

TL;DR: From team culture wins to record-impact campaigns, 2025 was packed. We hosted FunSquad hangouts, a two-day retreat, launched our eighth capital campaign, launched 11 websites, forged new partnerships, produced our first feature-length film, and showed up in the community with free workshops and Chamber events. We’re so grateful — and ready to build even more in 2026. Let’s plan what’s next together!

Last week, we shared some of the challenges we faced in 2025. It’s also good to step back and celebrate the wins! Here are a few highlights…


FunSquad Activities & Annual Retreat

We kicked off the year with a January 3 holiday party and, throughout 2025, hosted multiple FunSquad-led hangouts: an Oscars watch party, happy hours, volunteer outings, a river tubing adventure, and more. Our third annual team retreat in February took us to Hocking Hills for two days of connection, vision-casting, and a deeper dive into the culture we’re building together.



Campaigns with Real-World Impact

In partnership with Generis, we launched our eighth generosity initiative — this time with First Baptist Church of Elkhart. We were so pleased when they reached 134% of their goal after a six-week public phase! To date, our capital campaigns have helped churches and nonprofits raise more than $75.9 million. The throughline: clear strategy, compelling storytelling, and coherent creative across every touchpoint.



Investing in Our Own Story

2025 marked our first year of intentional self-promotion beyond our personal networks. Our ActionCOACH, Annette, has helped shape and guide a lot of those efforts. It’s been a learning curve, but the insights will help us refine how we bring value to the communities we serve — with a wider reach, clearer messaging, and stronger offers.


Websites, Websites, Websites

We launched 11 new or redesigned sites this year, and 2026 is already looking like it’ll break that record! Partnerships that Multiply Impact

We deepened relationships with partner agencies and creatives, including a local shop specializing in TV/radio placements, a digital marketing firm, and a national team using cutting-edge ad placement technology. These key partnerships expand what’s possible for communities of all sizes: integrated campaigns, smarter ad placements, and more measurable outcomes.


Big Screen Moments

This was a huge step for us. We filmed and edited our first feature-length documentary that will debut in 2026! It’s called “ESL: More Than a Language,” and you can learn more and support the film at esldocumentary.com. Major kudos to Jack, Taylor, Jonnie, Averie, Toby, and our friends at Festa for bringing those stories to life.


We’ve also started providing content and web support for another feature-length film slated for theaters in November 2026…stay tuned for behind-the-scenes and release details!



Showing Up Locally

We stepped out more into our local community with free workshops for nonprofits and more regular presence at the Tri-Village Chamber Partnership, Hilliard Area Chamber of Commerce, and the Human Service Chamber of Franklin County. Teaching, learning, and connecting with local leaders remains a core priority!
